INDIE BUSHWICK SHOWCASE #3 AT PINE BOX ROCK SHOP WITH :: NO SHOES + TEEN BODY + YOUNG RUNNER + STUYEDEYED + VIDEO BEAST

We celebrated our third music showcase last Friday August 28, right here in Bushwick at The Pine Box Rock Shop with some of our favorite Brooklyn bands on the scene right now. Teen Body opened the show followed by Video beast, No Shoes, Younger Runner & Stuyedeyed. This was an amazing night of great music and we want to thank all the bands for being apart of the show and everyone that came out to support independent local talent. XO

 

INDIE BUSHWICK'S DEBUT SHOWCASE

 Indie Bushwick started just six months ago out of a passion to actively support the indie artist community in my neighborhood and it was an emotional time last night seeing all the bands we love and support on stage at our first ever showcase at Cameo Gallery. The show was a blast thanks to everyone that came out to show support and our awesome line up of The Britanys, New Myths, Love Spread & Riios. Check out this groovy track form 20 year old Las Vegas Native Shamir, who is signed to Brooklyn Indie label Godmode where he released his debut EP "Northtown" in 2014. EMPIRE! EMPIRE! I WAS A LONELY ESTATE - WE ARE PEOPLE HERE. WE ARE NOT NUMBERS

Empire Empire might remind you of the the music you listened to in high school. The emo revival band often reminiscent of 90's Emo bands like Get Up Kids, Mineral and American football might bring about a feeling of nostalgia with their catchy guitar riffs and word of mouth lyrics. The band released there second album "You Will Eventually Be Forgotten" last summer and played this last weekend at Palisades in Bushwick. "We Are People Here. We Are Not Numbers" is our favorite track from the album. Take a listen below !
