Indie Bushwick started just six months ago out of a passion to actively support the indie artist community in my neighborhood and it was an emotional time last night seeing all the bands we love and support on stage at our first ever showcase at Cameo Gallery. The show was a blast thanks to everyone that came out to show support and our awesome line up of The Britanys, New Myths, Love Spread & Riios. XO ! Check out the new music video for Brooklyn's atmospheric electro rock trinity, New Myths. The Video was directed by Michael Fails, shot and edited by Alex Waterston. This is the second music video from their LP 'Give Me Noise' following 'False Gold'. You can catch the trio co-headlining Indie Bushwick's debut show at Cameo Gallery, Saturday June 6 at 7PM.
New Myths is made up of friends, drummer Rosie Slater, guitarist Brit Boras and bassist Marina Ross.The trio's eerie vocal harmonies drive this ethereal Electronic/Dance Rock band. Rosie the drummer for the group describe the New Myths in an interview saying "We love danceable grooves and ghostly vocals, combined with raging guitars and glossy electronics.
